Platform
The system of record for your operation
Nexus holds the records that matter — companies, merchants, customers, jobs, consignments, documents, communications, entitlements, usage and audit history — and keeps them consistent.
Ownership chain
Company is the tenancy boundary
Platform
Nexusit_today provides the software, the security model and the shared integration estate.
Company
The Company is the subscribing tenant and the canonical tenancy boundary. Every operational record carries its company.
Merchant
A Merchant belongs to exactly one Company. Larger operators run multiple merchants under one subscription.
Customer
Customers exist inside the Company and Merchant chain, never outside it.
Capabilities
What the platform holds
Companies, merchants and customers
One canonical ownership chain across the whole platform, enforced in the database rather than in the interface.
Jobs and consignments
Operational records that carry their tenancy with them, from booking through execution to proof of delivery.
Documents and communications
Email, telephone and messaging activity related back to the company, merchant, customer and job it belongs to.
Integrations
A documented integration estate with clear ownership, authentication, failure modes and recovery steps.
Entitlements and usage
Module and subscription entitlements with usage events, so what a company is paying for is always visible.
Audit history
Meaningful changes and cross-business access are recorded, so access can be explained after the fact.
Security
Isolation is a database property, not a screen
Ordinary users never see another company’s records. Where a service provider genuinely needs access to deliver contracted work, that access is granted explicitly.
Tenant isolation in the database
Row Level Security enforces the company boundary. Frontend filtering is not a security boundary.
Identity is separate from membership
Authentication proves who someone is. Explicit memberships and roles decide what they can reach.
Cross-business access is explicit
Service access grants are scoped, time-bound, auditable and revocable. Access never means ownership.
Super-admin access is audited
Platform super-admin access is explicit and recorded rather than implied.
Service access, not shared ownership
Swifteam is a separate people-driven service business, not a Nexus module. Where Swifteam delivers customer service, delivery enquiries or case management for a company, it receives a scoped service access grant covering named data domains, permitted actions and effective dates — recorded, auditable and revocable. Access never becomes ownership.
